Gov Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State, on Sunday supported a sick motorist, Mr Tajudeen Tijani of Oke Sopen, Ijebu Igbo, headquarters of Ijebu North Local with a sum of N1m needed for a medical surgery.
Gov Abiodun who was represented by the Commissioner for Community Development and Cooperatives, Alhaji Ademola Balogun, said that the present administration in the state will leave no stone unturned to attend to matters that affect the well-being of the entire citizenry.
Speaking during the presentation of the cheque, Alhaji Balogun said "We are here on behalf of our beloved governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun who after hearing about the state of health of our brother, Mr Tajudeen Tijani, ordered that something should be done to help you back on your feet so that you can continue to contribute your quota to the development of our dear state.
"Every individual counts under the present administration and that is why the governor has sent us to identify with you at this critical time which we believe will soon become a thing of the past and you will be back again to your feet bubbling with life and energy. We pray that the Almighty God will take it up from here and grant you perfect healing"
Responding, Mr Tijani said that he was overwhelmed with the unexpected support and divine assistance from Gov Abiodun praying that the Almighty God will continue to guide the governor and his government aright.
