Olu of Kobape in Obafemi/Owode local government area of the state, Oba Olufemi Taylor is said to have joined his ancestors.
The demise of the former Customs officer was announced on Friday by the former governor of Ogun State, Chief Olusegun Osoba.
The former governor said he was making the announcement of the transition of the royal father in his capacity as the Oluwo of Oba, Abeokuta.
Chief Osoba in an handwritten notice, said "I have the approval of the Alake and Paramount ruler of Egba land, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo to announce that the Olu of Kobape, Oba Olufemi Taylor has joined his ancestors"
He stated further that arrangements are ongoing for the continued administration of Koba kingdom by the Alake of Egba land, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo.
