Former Vice-Chairman of Ikenne local government, Alhaja Funmilayo Sholola has hailed the motherly care, selfless disposition and love for the residents of Ogun State as exemplified by the wife of the governor of the state, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun.
Alhaja Funmilayo Sholola gave this commendation while speaking on Mrs Bamidele Abiodun's favourable disposition to efforts and programmes tailored towards making life a lot better for the people of the state.
Alhaja Sholola described the Governor's wife as a godly woman of substance, a mother in true sense of it who prides herself in humility and selfless service to uplift humanity
She specifically lauded Mrs Bamidele Abiodun for promoting and supporting the well being of women as well as their children through her various humanitarian gestures saying that the first lady has always remained an excellent model of motherhood and great pillar to the astonishing achievements of her husband, Gov Dapo Abiodun both in politics and private sector.
Alhaja Sholola equally praised the Governor's wife for the recent Christmas party organised for the children in the state, saying that the event which was held at the Valley View, Government House, Isale Igbein, Abeokuta saw many children across the state going home with packages that would make the memory of this year Christmas lingers in their minds for a long time to come.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart has therefore called for further support of the government of Gov Dapo Abiodun, adding that the governor has demonstrated enormous capacity for qualitative leadership in the last two half years and should be given the privilege to continue the good work beyond 2023.
