An Ogun State chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chairman of SAS Foundation, Engr Adeola Sosanwo has sent his Christmas greetings to Christians across globe while also urging Nigerians not to despair despite its fair share of challenges.
Engr Sosanwo said he believed that Nigeria remains God's priority project and as such its inhabitants should not despair because very soon all these challenges confronting the nation would become history.
The APC stalwart in a statement made available to journalists at Abeokuta on Friday said "it's so obvious the country has its challenges, though, the government at all levels are trying their best to make things better. However, I have that assurance that Nigeria is God's project and very soon, all these challenges will become history".
Rejoicing with Christians on the occasion of this year Christmas celebration, Engr Sosanwo explained that "this is another season of the year to celebrate God's love and kindness to mankind who gave us our Lord Jesus, His only begotten son so that we could all live according to His purpose here on earth".
The philanthropist disclosed that the birth of Jesus Christ did not only bring joy and peace but also brought with it lessons of love, sharing and selflessness calling on Nigerians to rather stay committed to sharing love and those things that make us thick and strong as united Nigeria.
Sosanwo while felicitating with Nigerians at home and in diaspora, particularly of Ogun State extraction also called for more support for the government of Prince Dapo Abiodun saying that "this is a government that has done well enough to retain the seat beyond 2023. I hereby call on residents of the state to intensify their support for the administration of Gov Dapo Abiodun beyond 2023".
