Mr Armstrong 'Tope Akintunde, Chairman, Aerofield Homes Limited has rejoiced with the sons and daughters of Iperu in Ikenne local government area of Ogun state for the 2021 Akesan Day celebration.
Iperu, the home town of the incumbent Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun will today host other illustrious sons, daughters and their friends and associates as the community marks the annual Akesan Day Celebration.
The Iperu born business tycoon in his felicitation message described the annual event as a rallying point for oneness and further development of the ancient town.
Armstrong said "this year Akesan Day, our annual celebration for all sons and daughters of Iperu both at home and in diaspora is here again. We have cause to be grateful to God for the continued progress and peace of the community.
"I particularly congratulate every indigene of the town, particularly our Kabiyesi, His Royal Highness, Oba Adeleke Idowu Basibo, the Alaperu of Iperu Remo as well as our hardworking Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun as we come together to celebrate our rich culture and rally one another towards continued development and greatness of our dear community.
"I must at this juncture laud our Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for his unrepentant commitment towards leaving the state far better than he met it as well as his giant strides in Iperu in particular.
"It is incumbent upon us to keep praying for the Governor and rally more support for his government so that he can do more for the residents of the state and go ahead to be return for another term come 2023. I wish all of us a memorable celebration and pray that Iperu, Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole will continue to prosper in all fronts"
