Pastor Danjuma Tafawa-Balewa of the Redeemed Christian church of God, Cornerstone Parish (My Father’s House), Okota, Lagos is dead.
According to newsacross online report, Pastor Danjuma Tafawa-Balewa reportedly died of COVID-19 complications.
The report has it that the cleric and his wife, Vera as well as some family members had been on isolation after testing positive to the virus.
A source said the cleric, who had been on oxygen for more than two weeks eventually lost the battle to the virus around 12pm on Saturday.
Pastor Danjuma Tafawa-Balewa was said to have recently travelled to Bauchi to bury his mother.
His wife, Vera hailed from Orokam, In Ogbadibo LGA of Benue state.
