Gazal, Ijebu Ode LG APC Chairmanship candidate promises good governance

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Ijebu-Ode Local Govt area of the state, Alhaji Emilola Gazal has appealed to the residents of the council area for maximum supports towards the July 24 Local Govt elections.

Gazal, a seasoned journalist and Publisher of The Roots Magazine on his Facebook page equally harps for good governance in the council explaining that the entire Ijebu Ode, the capital city of Ijebuland is in dire need of serious rejuvenation, saying that its infrastructure needs serious face lift.

He said "as we prepare to hit the roads, seeking voters' consent for the July 24, 2021 election, I humbly ask for your support to be elected as the Chairman of Ijebu-Ode Local Government.

"The capital city of Ijebuland is in dire need of serious rejuvenation, her infrastructure needs serious face lift. His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun has changed the face of the city, and indeed the whole state, bringing back the lost glory of Ijebu-Ode.  We need more and shall continue to seek more.

"In doing this, I am not under any illusion that it is going to be a tea party, the road will be rough, with inadequate resources, government  alone cannot provide all our needs, we are Ijebu, a people with solid pedigree and positive antecedents.

"We are first among equals in all spheres of life. We should harness our human capital for the greater development of Ijebuland.

"If I have your mandate at the polls, I shall strive in this direction. I hereby call on sons and daughters of Ijebuland, wherever they may be, to join in the onerous responsibility of developing our land. It is doable, it is achievable, it is realisable.

"With other members of  the team, we shall do our modest best to make Ijebu-Ode a better and befitting capital city of Ijebuland.
Kindly support us on this journey", he posited.
