In a landmark political gathering, the All Progressives Congress (APC), Remo North Local Government has officially inaugurated Chief Olalekan Folarin as the Director-General of the Remo North APC Campaign Council* alongside other Directors and Committee Chairmen.
The inauguration, held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at the APC Secretariat, Isara-Remo, marks the official take-off of the party's grassroots mobilization structure for the forthcoming elections.
In his acceptance speech, Chief Folarin pledged total commitment to prioritizing unity and vigorous grassroots engagement to ensure victory for all APC candidates during the Presidential, Governorship, Ogun East Senatorial, Remo Federal Constituency and and House of Assembly elections
A major highlight was the donation of 10 branded Public Address Systems to all 10 wards by the House of Assembly Candidate, Hon. Chief Adebiyi Adeleye to boost ward-level mobilization.
The event was graced by top party leaders including Dr. Hon. Babatunde Adejare, Secretary of Ogun State APC Campaign Council, Otunba Muyiwa Sodade, Chairman Remo North LG, Prince Akeem Ajibola, LGA Party Chairman, Hon. Kola Awolaja, Member Ogun State House of Assembly and other leaders, stakeholders and ward executives.
