Hon. Babatunde Aremu, APC Youth Leader in Ogun State, has officially declared his support for Hon. Wasiu Okikiola Fayomi as a suitable candidate for the position of Deputy Governor ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Aremu said that Hon. Wasiu Okikiola Fayomi possesses the leadership qualities, experience, grassroots connection, and political capacity required to complement the governorship ticket and contribute meaningfully to the continued progress and development of Ogun State.
He stated that the youth constituency across the state strongly believes in inclusive leadership and the urgent need to promote youth in governance by creating opportunities for young people to participate actively in leadership and decision-making processes.
The APC Youth Leader further noted that empowering youths through political representation remains essential for the future growth, stability, and prosperity of Ogun State.
He called on party stakeholders, leaders, and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State to consider competence, unity, youth inclusion, and the overall interest of the party when making decisions concerning the 2027 elections.
He emphasized that supporting capable and credible leaders such as Hon. Wasiu Okikiola Fayomi would strengthen the party’s chances of victory and ensure sustained good governance in Ogun State.
