As the Ogun State former Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Tunde Oladunjoye is laid to rest tomorrow, Sunday April 20, the leadership of the Ijebu Youth Association said that the sudden death of the seasoned journalist turned politician is one sad event that has left an indelible void in the hearts of many, particularly within the youth constituency.
The National President of the association, Pastor Okikiola Fayomi expressed this sadness in a statement sent to journalists in Abeokuta on Saturday.
Pastor Fayomi while mourning the one time Chairman of Ijebu East Local Government and Consultant on Media to Gov Dapo Abiodun said "The passing of Comrade Ambassador Oladunjoye has left an indelible void in the hearts of many, particularly within the youth constituency.
"As a mentor, his contributions, guidance, and leadership will be deeply missed. As the esteemed National President of Ijebu Youths Association, I have equally paid a heartfelt visit to the late ambassador's hometown in Itele, where I signed a condolence note.
"This gesture underscored our association's commitment to honoring the legacy of this youth ambassador and political stalwart while offering solace to the bereaved family.
"During the visit, the association expressed profound condolences to the family, highlighting the late ambassador's invaluable impact on the youth constituency.
"Our words of comfort were aimed at providing solace during this difficult time. May the Almighty God forgive any of our brother's shortcomings and grant the irrepressible Comrade Ambassador Oladunjoye eternal rest.
"May the family and all well-wishers he left behind be blessed with strength, peace, and cherished memories of his remarkable life".
