Ogun Commissioner, Balogun salutes workers, urges support for Abiodun's administration

The Commissioner for Community Development and Cooperatives, Alhaji Ademola Balogun has extended his wishes to the workers in the state as they celebrate this year's May Day otherwise called, Worker's Day.

In a statement, on Wednesday, Alhaji Ademola Balogun fondly called Klass, lauded the workers for their diligence, dedication and commitment towards enhancing the social-economic and political development of the nation.

The Commissioner described them  as great footsoldiers toiling day and night to oil the economy of the nation saying that truly they deserved to be supported and recognised at all times.

He maintained that the workers deserve appreciation and respect due to their contributions to the development of the state adding that there is no gainsaying the fact that labour creates wealth, and the more reason that their welfare must always be accorded top priority.

The Commissioner has however urged the workers in the state to continue to give their cooperation to the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun in order to move the state forward.

Ademola said "I want use this medium to congratulate Ogun State workers as they celebrate this year's May Day. I so much believe that your invaluable contributions to the development of the state cannot be quantified, and that you are nothing but key driver of development of any society.

"Nevertheless, I want to appeal to the workers in our dear state to continue to throw their weight behind His Excellency, Gov. Dapo Abiodun who apart from being workers and pensioners' friendly has taken governance to another level with his giant strides which spread across the state in the areas of infrastructural development, qualitative health care delivery, free and qualitative education, job creation, empowerment of youths and women, agricultural revolution among others".
