It was a session of eulogies and encomiums as the remains of a renowned islamic leader, Alhaja Zinat Bello, mother of one the All Progressives Congress chieftains in Ogun State, Hon. Kehinde Ayodeji Bello, was laid to rest, Thursday, according to Islamic rites.

Hon. Kehinde Bello, popularly known as KAB in Ogun political circles, was 2019 and 2023 the House of Representative aspirant for Ijebu East, Ijebu North and Ogun Waterside federal constituency and now one of the pillars of the APC in Ijebu East local government area of the state.

Alhaja Zinat Bello during her lifetime was said to be a bridge builder, loving mother, and a devoted Muslim whose love for all around her could never be over-emphasised.

Speaking briefly at the event, one of the children, Mr. Taiwo Bello, said that the death of his mother was a quantum loss and a rude shock because she was everything a caring and highly responsible mother could be to her children, but that the family thanked God for the legacies she left behind within the family.

He said, “our mother was until her death everything to us, in fact she was very caring, prayerful, loving and accommodating to many residents of our community in Ijebu Imushin and Ikorodu area of Lagos State where she was until her death, Alhaja taught us summary of good and impactful life”.

In the same vein, Hon. Kehinde Bello in his conversion with our correspondent thereafter, prayed the Almighty Allah to grant her Mum eternal rest, while promising that he and his siblings would do all in their powers to preserve her rich legacy of selflessness and love for all.
