A veteran Nollywood actor, Ganiyu Oyeyemi, popularly known as Ogunjimi, is dead.
The news of the death of the veteran Yoruba Actor emerged on social media on Friday.
Actor Kunle Afod shared the sad news of Ogunjimi in a post on his social messaging platform X.
Mourning the actor, Afod wrote, “We tried our best but God loves you more.
“May his soul rest in peace. Baba Ogunjinmi, RIP, Sun re oooo.”
Ogunjimi was famous for his fierce role, especially as a warlord in the Yoruba movie. He is popular for his roles as a wizard when the movie involves the act of witchcraft.
Ogunjimi was ranked among the likes of Abija, Lalude, Fadeye, and Dagunro, known for their roles as traditional herbalists in movies.
