Ramadan: Ogun Commissioner seeks more prayers for Gov Abiodun, Tinubu

Ogun State Commissioner for  Community Development and Cooperative,  Alhaji Ademola Balogun has called on Muslims across the state to use the highly revered Ramadan period to intensify prayers for Gov Dapo Abiodun as well as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu so as to be able to record more success in their bids to make lives more rewarding for the residents of the country.

Alhaji Ademola disclosed this in a statement sent out to identify with the Muslims this holy month.

He gave thanks to Almighty Allah who has made it possible for all to be living witnesses and partakers of this year Ramadan.

The Commissioner urged Muslims to take the advantage of the Holy Month to strengthen their faith, seek closeness with Almighty Allah and attain taqwa (piety) which he said is the essence of Ramadan.

Alhaji Ademola Klass as he is fondly called said "as it has pleases the Almighty Allah to preserve us to see and be partakers of this year Ramadan, we must not lose sight of the essence of this Holy month.

"We are therefore to use this Ramadan period to move closer to God, we must move away from all that the Almighty Allah has considered to be sinful for us and also seek for forgiveness.

"We must particularly pray for our country, pray for Gov Dapo Abiodun as well as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu who are both working day and night to embark on meaningful projects that will enhance qualitative living for our people. 

"The work before these two leaders are enormous but with our support and prayers they will succeed and things will improve tremendously in our country, this economic crisis will turn into abundance and everyone will be happy".

He described Ramadan as a month of abundant blessing, mercy and forgiveness from Allah urging the Muslims to use the period to intensify prayer for the growth and peace of communities across the country.

Ademola, while rejoicing with the Muslims on the occasion of this year Ramadan prayed the Almighty Allah to uphold and preserve everyone to see the end of the 30 days spiritual exercise.
