Raji applauds Tinubu over appointment of Zacheaus Adedeji, seven others

More accolades are pouring in over the recent appointment of Special Advisers by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The latest is from the erstwhile Director, of National Youth Mobilization South West of the APC Presidential Campaign Council for the 2023 Presidential Election, Engineer Kazeem Kolawole Raji.

In a statement issued and personally signed by him in Ibadan on Friday, June 16th, Engr. Kolawole Raji commends the latest sets of appointments of Mr Dele Alake, Wale Edun, Nuhu Ribadu, Yau Darazo, Mrs Olu Verheijen, Zacheaus Adedeji, John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu and Dr (Mrs.) Salma Ibrahim Anas as men and women of impeccable Character and exceptional qualities. 

Specifically, Raji commends the appointment of Zacchaeus Adedeji as a well-placed engagement considering his robust antecedents and pedigree in both Private and Public Accounting business.

Before he was appointed the Special Adviser to Mr President on Revenue, Zacchaeus was the Executive Secretary of the National Sugar Development Council, Abuja.

'Unarguably, the appointment of Mr Zacheaus Adedeji as the Special Adviser on Revenue to Mr President is well deserving and commendable taking into account the unblemished and enviable track records in public service dating back to his days as the State Commissioner for Finance in Oyo State under the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi between 2011 and 2015 and subsequent engagement at National level as Executive Secretary of the National Sugar Development Council ' the statement read.

Raji, a Telecommunications and ICT Expert and former Executive Director, of Nigerian Communications Satellite went further to highlight the sterling qualities of Mr. Zacch Adelabu Adedeji in both the public and private sectors which make him suitable for the assignment.

'From his days at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife where he made an indelible mark in his Academic pursuits graduating with a First Class in Accounting and Management in his first degree and a distinction in the same discipline in the Master's Program, Zacheaus Adedeji has left no one in doubt of his capacity as a fantastic expert in the management of men and capital.',

'In the Private sector, Adedeji was a former Manager at Procter and Gamble before his foray into Public life. He was engaged as the Commissioner for Finance in Oyo State by the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi between 2011 and 2015. He is at present the Executive Secretary of the National Sugar Development Council, a position he was holding before his present appointment. In all these appointments, Adedeji left an unblemished record with the huge success recorded in the books of those organizations and public institutions, Raji said.

While praising President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the appointments, Raji equally use the statement to pour encomium on Mr President for his bold attempts, initiatives and commitments to turning the Nation around for the best.
