Daddah deserves Commissioner slot, Coalition of Ogun youths, students tells Gov Abiodun

The national leadership of Ogun State Coalition of Youths and Students has urged Gov Dapo Abiodun to consider making Hon Rasaq Daddah, former Chairman of Ijebu Ode Local Government as part of the his second term service-oriented cabinet member.

The Coordinator of the group, Com. Olufemi Oyenuga popularly called Valentino made this appeal at a press briefing held at Ogun NUJ Press Centre, Iwe Iroyin, Oke Ilewo, Abeokuta on Tuesday.

Com. Oyenuga disclosed that the youth and students across the state are calling on Gov Dapo Abiodun to include men with passion for selfless service and grassroots mobilisation like Hon Rasaq Daddah into his cabinet for a very rewarding and fruitful second term.

Oyenuga said, "from his days as a local government chairman, Hon Rasaq Daddah has always been a progressive and vibrant politician with a difference. He has always been making people the centre of his  focus. His love for the youth, students and women is uncommon. He is also very accessible to all, he will always say that he is in politics to impact the people and truly this has been guiding step. 

"And additionally, in the just concluded 2023 general elections, Hon Daddah did excellently well in terms of mobilising people to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ijebu Ode and its environs, we thank God the hardwork was never in vain. 

"It is in the light of this knowledge, being a very committed and loyal party man and whom we know is tremendously endowed to add value to your desire to further take Ogun to an enviable height that we are pleading with you sir, Gov Dapo Abiodun to please consider Hon Rasaq Daddah for a Commissioner slot in your second term cabinet. It is a decision that we have the assurance that you can never regret", Oyenuga said.
