Dapo Abiodun Likeminds honours Ogun APC chieftain, Adekunle Ayoola

A frontline support group for the government of Gov Dapo Abiodun as well as his second term ambition, Dapo Abiodun Likeminds over the weekend, decorated Prince Adekunle Adebayo Ayoola, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Odogbolu local government as its Special Adviser.

The Chairman of the support group in Ogun East, Arc Oluranti Oresile did the decoration for the APC stalwart at Ijebu Ode Club.

Arc Oluranti Oresile disclosed that the group decided to pick Prince Adekunle Adebayo Ayoola for the honour having been found to have displayed so much support for the continued success of the government of Prince Dapo Abiodun.

Oresile said " Dapo Abiodun Likeminds is all about encouraging good governance and supporting the phenomenon of ''omoluwabi" which our governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has personified in the last three years. It is so glaring that the governor is working so hard to make life more bearable for the people of the state. 

"It is on this basis that we have been all out drumming support for the governor and in the course of doing this, we also identify those stakeholders who are also doing everything, using their resources to further support the governor to succeed. One of them is Prince Adekunle Ayoola. 

"We have seen several of his publications with which he had used to either showcase the good work of the governor or calling on residents of the state to further support the governor to succeed. He also runs a foundation through which he supports students with scholarships among others. He is also a politician who hold the grassroots very dear to his heart

"He is truly a likemind because just like our governor, he is also favourably disposed to selfless service and being someone in diaspora, we also believe that we can as well tap from his exposure and that is why we have decided to make him a Special Adviser to our group".

Reacting to the honour done him, Prince Adekunle Ayoola thanked the DA Likeminds for finding him worthy of the honour.

Adekunle said he was only giving his support to Gov Dapo Abiodun out of the strong conviction that the governor had remained dedicated to moving the state forward in all ramifications but never knew that someone somewhere was taking notice of his little contributions.

The APC chieftain said "this honour is no doubt a pleasant surprise to me and I want to assure you that it will definitely spur me to do so much more. Gov Dapo Abiodun is making our party proud with the way he has handled governance so far in the state. 

"He surely deserves the support and cooperation of all of us to continue this good work beyond 2023. I thank DA Likeminds for this honour and we shall surely be partners in progress in this journey of taking our state to higher height".
