A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State and founder of Omooba Obaruwa Foundation, Prince Adekunle Adebayo Ayoola has sent his felicitations to Christians across the country over this year Easter celebrations.
Prince Ayoola has equally tasked Nigerians to imbibe the pivotal lesson of selflessness, discipline and dedication as exemplified by Christ with his death and ressurection on the cross if the country must move forward.
The APC stalwart in a statement made available to journalists at Abeokuta, the state capital said "I want to congratulate our Christians brothers and sisters on the successful completion of lent period during when as Christians we fasted for 40 days seeking the face of God.
"This period of abstinence from food and outright discipline culminated into marking Easter when our Lord Jesus Christ out of love for mankind gave his life for the redemption of the world. As we celebrate this year Easter, I want to urge Nigerians and our leaders to be more selfless, we must exhibit greater discipline and be more dedicated to making the country the pride of all
Ayoola said Nigeria's challenges are not insurmountable but required great deal of selflessness on the part of the leaders and the led disclosing that, within a short time, the country could be the toast of other nations of the world with selfless leadership.
The APC stalwart while wishing Nigerians a joyous Easter urged them to look for traits of selflessness, discipline and dedication to service in the lives of those they might wish to vote for as another general elections holds in 2023.
