Remo indigenes, under the auspices of PYO for President 2023 Group have called on Professor Yemi Osinbajo SAN, the Vice President, to contest for the office of the president of the federal republic of Nigeria come 2023.
The decision to call on Prof Yemi Osinbajo to join the 2023 presidential race, according to a communique sighted by our Correspondent, was taken at the meeting of all Remo indigenes held yesterday, Friday 4th February at Isara Remo, Remo North Local Government, Ogun State.
The meeting of the support group which is being coordinated by the former two term executive Chairman of Remo North Local Government and one time ALGON Boss in Ogun State, Hon John Obafemi was said to have also had in attendance notable Remo indigines cutting across business, politics, education from the three local governments of Remo North, Ikenne and Sagamu.
The group disclosed that the vision of coming together to call on Prof Yemi Osinbajo to contest the 2023 presidential race is premised on his tested and proved abilities to reposition Nigeria for a better tomorrow.
The Vice President's kinsmen said "we therefore humbly call on well meaning Nigerians to support this clarion call on Prof Yemi Osinbajo to contest for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 2003".
Some of the notable leaders across the three local governments who were at the meeting included Hon. John Obafemi, Ogun former ALGON Boss, Otunba Fatai Sowemimo, Prince Michael Adesanya, Alhaji Asiru, Chief Femi Soyemi, Otunba Koye Ijaduoye, Chief Foye Sofodu, Hon. Sunday Oyefusi, Mr. Dele Osifade, Hon. Obafemi Olowoporoku as well as Mr G.O. Ogunfowora.
Others are Hon. Erinfolami, Hon. Deji Solaja, Pastor Yomi Solanke, Otunba Femi Osude, Alhaji Lamidi Odulawa, Olootu Jimi Aare, Mrs. Josephine Makanjuola, Evang Kolade Okeowo, Arch Biodun Adesanya as well several APC members across the 35 wards in Remo land.
