Maritime Organisation Secretary General commends Bebua Udenyi

Secretary General of the Maritime Organisation for West and  Central Africa, Dr. Paul Adalikwu, has commended the Bebua Udenyi of Bebuabong village, Obudu,  Cross River for their show of love over his recent election.

This came up as he was presented a plaque of honour
by the representative of Bebua Udenyi, Mr. Cletus Adalikwu at the weekend in Obudu, Cross River State.

The Secretary general of the West and Central Africa Maritime Organisation,  who would be resuming at the organisation's headquarters in Cote d' voire, after the Christmas and New Year break, hosted his kindred during the yuletide as part of  his thanksgiving ceremony.

Dr Adalikwu said he was overwhelmed with joy by this singular act of his kindred, urging  them to put him in prayers to make a success  of the assignment.

Earlier, Mr. Cletus Adalikwu, who presented the plaque on behalf of his kindred, said it was a thing of joy for God to have chosen their brother as the first Nigerian to occupy this lofty  position in the life of the organisaton.

He said the plaque was a symbol of their appreciation for this notable elevation.

He thanked the minister of transportation, Senator Rotimi Amaechi and President Mohammed Bihari for the choice of Dr Adalikwu as the new secretary general of the Maritime Organisation.

He noted that since  his
election was an act of God, he alone,  would see him through the assignment.
