Soji Amosu: I mourn the loss of an accomplished Journalist - GNI

The Board Chairman, Ogun Guangdong Free Trade Zone and a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka has commiserated with the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Ogun State Chapter, over the death of its Chairman, Comrade Soji Amosu.

Until his death, late Amosu was a Deputy Director at the National Orientation Agency, Ogun State.

According to GNI, the shocking death of Amosu is not just a big blow to his immediate family, but members of the media constituency in the state, noting that the deceased was an accomplished administrator in journalism whose selfless disposition will be dearly missed.

The APC Chieftain called on the deceased’s family, friends, associates and Ogun NUJ to bear the loss with the spirit of resignation to God’s will, even as he urged them to take consolation in the fact that longevity was not the measure of a good life but the sense of fulfilment.

"I am saddened by the news of the sudden departure of the Ogun state Chapter of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Soji Amosu whom I had the privilege of sharing a personal relationship with especially during the 2019 elections."

"Amosu belonged to the cadre of accomplished professionals in journalism whose humility and courage of conviction earned him the respect of all that knew him."

"He exemplified diligence, firmness, character and sheer wisdom in the discharge of his administrative duties."

"My thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children and the professional family he left behind. May his soul rest in peace." he stated.
