The Olu of Oke Ariko, Sagamu Dr Olayinka Oladunni has described the coming on board of the Akarigbo and Paramount ruler of Remo land, Oba Adewale Babatunde Ajayi as the new Chairman of Ogun State Council of Obas as another good move to advance the development of the state.
Dr Olayinka Oladunni while felicitating with Oba Adewale Babatunde Ajayi on this deserved elevation described the Paramount ruler as a royal father with uncommon wealth of experience and who definitely will leave no stones unturned to join forces with Gov Dapo Abiodun to further work for the greatness of the state.
The Akarigbo, on Monday took over the leadership of the traditional rulers in the state from the Awujale and Paramount ruler of Ijebu land, Oba Sikiru Adetona
The community leader said "I just want to congratulate our highly revered royal father and Paramount ruler of Remo land, Oba Adewale Babatunde Ajayi on his inauguration as the Chairman of Ogun State Council of Obas.
"It is a good move towards the desire to strengthen our traditional institutions which are very germane to advancing good governance in the state.
"Oba Adewale Babatunde Ajayi surely has all the requisite capacity to rally other traditional rulers to ensure peace and stability across the state and to of course support our hardworking governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun to further work for the development of our dear State.
"I therefore urge other traditional rulers in the state to support Oba Adewale Babatunde Ajayi and make his tenure a memorable one".
