Ogun: 52-yr old man defiles 10-yr old girl, three underaged daughters too

Ogun State police command has arrested 52-yr old man, Kayode Adeniyi of No 12 Abere ifa street, Ijoko, Sango Ota in Ado-Odo/Ota local government for unlawfully having carnal knowledge of a 10-yr old girl (named withheld).

The police in a statement issued by the command's Spokesman, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi on Tuesday also said that Kayode Adeniyi never denied abusing sexually his three underaged daughters when confronted with the allegations.

Kayode was said to have been arrested after the aunt of the 10-yr old girl lodged complaint against him at Agbado divisional headquarters of the Nigeria Police.

The aunt was said to have reported that while her niece went to the apartment of the suspect to ask whether his daughter was the person who mistakenly removed the clothes she spread outside, the suspect forcefully dragged her into the room, covered her mouth with pillow and had sexual intercourse with her.

She explained further that the 10-yr old girl said that the suspect threatened to kill her with knife if she make noise while he was defiling her, hence she was forced to shut up her mouth

On the strength of this report, the DPO, Agbado Division, CSP Kehinde Kuranga, was said that to have cdetailed his detectives to the scene where the suspect was promptly arrested. 

On interrogation, Kayode was said to have confessed having carnal knowledge of the victim forcefully while also allegedly admitting that he threatened the victim with knife and that was why she could not make noise until he satisfied his sexual urge. 

Further investigation into the past activities of the suspect was said to have confirmed that, he had also allegedly been sexually abusing his three underaged biological daughters before now and this he was also said to have denied. 

The police said the victim had been taken to General Hospital for medical examination and treatment.
 
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun has ordered the family support unit of Sango area command to take over the case for in depth investigation and diligent prosecution.
