Some gunmen suspected to be kidnappers on Wednesday evening reportedly shot a policeman dead, abducted another policeman and three others including a civil servant .
It was gathered that the kidnappers abducted a civil servant working with the ministry of Agric and a couple who wanted to establish a fish farm in the state .
It was learnt that they were abducted at Ibara-Orile in Abeokuta North local government area of the state after killing one of the policemen that served as guards for the farmers .
A source with the family of one of the victims disclosed that , the ministry asked the civil servant to follow the couple who made a request for an agricultural extension expert .

Ministry of Agriculture , fishery department was kidnapped . They were kidnapped at Ibara-Orile on Wednesday after they shot dead a policeman and abducted the other policeman .
“They later forcefully took the couple and the civil servant into the bush and had yet to contact the family of the victims for ransom .
It was gathered that when the residents of the area went to the police state headquarters, Eleweran to lodge the complaint of the kidnap , the police were said to have claimed not to be aware of the incident .
The source added, “the residents went to police state headquarters, Eleweran, to lodge the complaint, but, they were told that they were not aware .
“The civil servant that was abducted works with ministry of agriculture .
A woman and her husband went to the ministry to request for an Agric extension expert and they were given one . They reportedly requested for police cover and they were given two policemen .
“On getting to Ibara Orile , the kidnappers stopped the vehicle, shot dead one of the policemen and abducted another policeman alongside the three persons .”
When contacted , the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the incident .
Oyeyemi said the team was ambushed by gunmen through a connivance from an insider .
He said the command had been on the case and would not ensure the perpetrators are brought to book and the victims are rescued .
He said “the way the thing happened is more or less like a conspiracy from an insider . The man was ambushed and his orderly was shot .
“We are on it . The command is doing everything to make sure that we get those that are behind that act .
“And a policeman was shot and killed, that means those people who did it have murdered sleep and would not sleep again.
“We will not rest until we fish them out one after the other no matter who they are .”
