As the holy month of Ramadan begins today across the Islamic world, the Managing Director of the Everest Metal Nigeria limited Vikas Das has urged Muslims to make use of the Ramadan period in praying for sustained peace and prosperity in the country.
Vikas Das made the call in a message to mark the beginning of Ramadan which was made to Journalists in Abeokuta the Ogun State capital.
The Managing Director revealed that sustained prayers were necessary in assisting the country overcome its myriads of challenges urging Muslims to make use of Ramadan period to pray fervently to God.
He also called on Muslims to strictly adhere to all preventive measures and protocols already put in place by authorities both locally and internationally.
While enjoining his factory workers, he charged them to make use of the little they have, to embark on alms giving especially the less privileged in the society.
He also advised the workers to continue to live in love with one and other adding that they should shunned any act of bad acts amongst other.
He therefore called on religious leaders to pray for the country over the increasing spate of killings, kidnapping, armed robbery and banditry that has become a daily basis in our country.
