The Chairman of SAS Foundation, Engr Adeola Sosanwo has urged Nigerians to embrace love and be ready to make more sacrifices for a greater Nigeria as we celebrate this year Easter.
Engr Adeola Sosanwo stated this in his Easter message to Nigerians, copy of which was made available to journalists over the weekend.
The philanthropist said "as we celebrate this year Easter which marked end of 40 days Lenten period, a time when Christians all over the world fast and pray as well as the celebration of death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the lesson of love and sacrifice as demonstrated by our Lord Jesus must be embraced by all".
The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) explained that Jesus Christ, because of his love for mankind and to save man from eternal damnation offered himself as sacrifice on the cross of calvary and therefore secure eternal life and greater future for mankind.
The oil and gas merchant said "as we celebrate this year Easter, as Nigerians we must be ready to show love to one another, we must continue to see ourselves as brothers and sisters and find a way to keep supporting one another. We must shun selfishness and be ready to make sacrifices wherever we are for the betterment of all"
Sosanwo rejoiced with Christians on the auspicious occasion of this year Easter celebration praying that the mighty working resurrection power of Christ will forever remain evident in all that they do in Jesus name.
